Scholarship Recipients

Our commitment to sustainability is about more than the environment. We support education for students in the community to provide long term improvement to the quality of life for the next generation of Nicaraguans.

Our primary scholarship program supports secondary school students from the community of Sabana Grande. Secondary school runs from 6th grade to 11th grade in Nicaragua.

We have also supported students in post secondary education, including students who have pursued areas of study in medicine, teaching and renewable energy.

Partner Organizations

Our founders have been working with the same community in Sabana Grande, Totogalpa, Nicaragua since 2007. They volunteered full time for one year in Nicaragua with Grupo Fenix. Our local partners, Las Mujeres Solares de Totogalpa, manage the administration necessary to provide the secondary school scholarships to local students. We support both Grupo Fenix and the Mujeres Solares de Totogalpa with donations for operations and administration. We have also benefited from partnership with Global Solace whom have administrated our scholarship fund transfers for many years.
